Samuel Deisenberger (born 1990 in Linz) studied Screenwriting and Directing at the Vienna Film Academy. For him, storytelling isn’t about following a set map; it’s a compass into the uncharted territories of the human soul. His work thrives in the liminal spaces—delving into moral ambiguity, latent violence, and the pursuit of beauty in the midst of darkness. He approaches his morally complex, twilight-dwelling characters with radical empathy. By leveraging genres like horror, thriller, and sci-fi, his aim is to tackle core human questions with visceral, crowd-pulling intensity—creating cinematic experiences that offer no easy answers, but resonate long after the credits roll.
