Jessica Lind was born in 1988 in St. Pölten. She studied screenplay and dramaturgy at the Vienna Film Academy and Media Technology at the FH St. Pölten. As a writer she is working on screenplays as well as novels. Her first feature film RUBIKON, co-authored by director Leni Lauritsch, will premiere in 2022. RUBIKON is a Science Fiction Film set at a space station, featuring an international cast. Lind's first novel MAMA was published in 2021 by Kremayr&Scheriau. Das Debüt Bloggerpreis was awarded to it as the best german-speaking debut of 2021. The novel wanders between genre worlds. What begins as a classic relationship story unfolds page by page into a subtle horror. As a dramaturg she accompanied Jessica Hausner’s screenplay work of the uncanny Science-Fiction-Drama LITTLE JOE, that premiered in 2019 in Cannes. Jessica is a board member of the Drehbuchverband Austria. She won several prices and scholarships such as Carl-Mayer-Drehbuchpreis 2019, 21st Klagenfurter Literaturkurs 2017 and 23rd Open Mike 2015.
