
Arman T. Riahi, born in Iran in 1981, studied media technology in London and Vienna.
His first motion picture documentary SCHWARZKOPF (2011) won the audience award at Diagonale and at Sarajevo Film Festival.
Arman directed in collaboration with his brother Arash T Riahi the documentary EVERYDAY REBELLION which participated in over 60 international festivals and events and won nine awards.
He is known for his feature DIE MIGRANTIGEN which won the Max Ophüls Publikumspreis in 2017.
Arman’s latest film FUCHS IM BAU received the Thomas Pluch Preis at the Diagonale Festival and the Max Ophüls Preis for best direction, best script and the prize of the young jury.
Together with his brother Arash T. Riahi he works under the name RIAHI BROTHERS. Together they develop screenplays and direct features like LANDKRIMIS or SCHRILLE NACHT.
He lives in Vienna.
