Frauke Firl is a Germany based costume designer, known for her collaboration with Lars von Trier, Maragethe von Trotta, Joshua Oppenheimer, Christian Schwochow and Emily Atef amongst others.
After training as an actor and classical violonist, she discovered her true calling in film costume design, which remains her passion to this day.
She has a diverse portfolio of work, including historical costume drama and fantasy, and enjoys the challenge of discovering new approaches to her projects.
