Wolfgang Frisch, born in 1974 Salzburg, is a film composer, producer, and musician based in Vienna. He is a founding member of the Viennese sound collective SOFA SURFERS and has released five solo albums. He has worked on compositions for numerous films such as “KOMM SUESSER TOD”, “DER KNOCHENMANN”, “TATORT - DIE FAUST,” and "COPS," to name a few. As a stage composer, he has worked for the Schauspielhaus Wien and the Theater in der Josefstadt. Along with his bandmates, Frisch was awarded Best Alternative Album with the Austrian Amadeus Award in 2013. He was also nominated for Best Original Score by the Austrian Film Academy for “DAS EWIGE LEBEN” and "COPS".
